Another cobia was caught on Saturday by Roy Hawkins off the surf at the south end of the island. We heard of some more spanish mackerel, bluefish, flounder, trout, sea mullet also for Saturday then the windy conditions came on Sunday. I did manage to get a spanish mackerel from the surf Sunday morning but it was after about 1 kazillion casts and determination not to quit until I could catch something...shew! We did hear of just a few bluefish, sea mullet and flounder but that was about it.
Sound fishing was about the same. Saturday not so bad but Sunday unfishable. Today's a new day and we're hopeful of posting lots of good fishing. Have a great day and keep fishing!
