The surf fishing was a little better yesterday with catches of bluefish up to 8-1/2 lbs., puppy drum (at least one), sea mullet and flounder. Sound fishing produced spanish mackerel, bluefish, speckled trout, gray trout and flounder. Offshore was super yesterday with good catches of dolphin, wahoo, king mackerel, yellowfin tuna. Wreck fishing produced triggerfish and amberjacks.
***UPDATE**
As the morning goes by and fishermen stop in we're finding out that the fishing actually improved greatly yesterday and this morning. Bluefish and spanish mackerel appeared again at the south end and quite a few were caught. Steve Smith from Severna Park, MD had a great time and kept one that we were fortunate enough to get a picture of.

We also have heard of a good number of puppy drum being caught as well.
