Well the "Young Fisherman" finally got his big citation red drum last night. Way to go! Justin has put in some serious hours this past year and it's great to see his wish finally come true. From the surf yesterday there were once again lots n lots of bluefish. Gray trout, sea mullet, croaker, flounder and of course a few drum. At least one big one and a couple that got away.
Also wanted to share a picture that was sent in from Breck Smith of his wife Doris with a really fat sea mullet that weighed about 2 lbs. 5 oz...Wish they had brought it in to the shop for our derby.

Sound fishing produced spanish mackerel, bluefish, gray trout, a few speckled trout and flounder.

Offshore report was yellowfin, wahoo, amberjack and dolphin. Dave Nagel, Capt. of charterboat "Drum Stick" had 9 tuna averaging 45 lbs. a piece, wahoo, dolphin and amberjack.

That's all for now. Have a great day and keep fishing.
