FISHING REPORT ARCHIVERating System:Good fishing:  Not so good fishing:       We know of a few puppy drum and larger drum at night. Bob and I were casting our nets for finger mullet and watched several flounder being landed on the south end of the island. Bluefish, puppy drum and larger ones at night, gray trout, sea mullet, spot and croaker rounded out the catch. Ron Maness from Burlington, NC landed and released a 31-1/2" red drum.  This picture is from Bill Heath who caught some nice gray trout and flounder by boat in the sound. Besides trout and flounder they were catching spot, croaker, bluefish and drum.
