Well the fishing has improved big time. Spanish mackerel, bluefish, pompano, puppy drum, black drum, sea mullet, flounder, spot, gray trout and croaker have all been reported up and down the beach. Baitfish have also been showing up a little better. Sound fishing also reported in with some great fishing by Jim Lobel who said they caught just about everything by boat. Offshore reports came in from Capt. Ronnie O'Neal and Ocracoke Fishing Center with wahoo, dolphin, king mackerel, amberjacks, snappers, triggerfish and black sea bass. Sounds like the storm just stirred the waters up nice enough to make fishing great! Have a great day and keep fishing!
