The first big surprize yesterday was John Gilbert's 47" red drum he caught and released. Normally we hear of catching these big guys at night but this one was caught around 2 p.m. yesterday.

Another big bluefish was caught by Curtis which almost made the new leader on our derby board.

Once again, those who got up early caught spanish mackerel as well as bluefish while fishing with artificial lures.

We heard of some sea mullet, pompano, flounder, gray trout and speckled trout. There were a few cobia caught while fishing by boat in the sound yesterday. Offshore produced tuna, wahoo, king mackerel, snapper, triggerfish and black sea bass. That's all for now. Have a great day and keep fishing!
