Fishing still slow but some of our angler's (few as they are) are catching puppy drum, flounder, bluefish, sea mullet and speckled trout. Tommy Pickett and Brant Massey from Durham caught 4 drum between 18 and 23", speckled trout 19" and a 17" flounder. Jeff Shuman from Greenville, NC caught speckled trout, sea mullet, bluefish and 2 puppy drum. Not bad! Pictured here is Barbara Jackson and Shellie Ann Moore from Washington, NC with their catch of 6 lb. puppy drum.

Offshore wreck fishing produced amberjacks, triggerfish, black sea bass, vermillion snappers and groupers.

There's plenty of room to fish on the beach so come on over and join in the fishing experience.
