It was a pleasant surprize Thursday morning to wake up and have such a calm wind. The ocean was clear and fishing was much better.
There were a few fishermen having a go at night fishing and at least 2 citations were written up. Kendall Echols from Columbia, MD caught and released a 50" red drum. Willie Foster from Virginia Beach, VA caught and released a 51" red drum. During the day there were quite a few puppy drum as well as black drum, bluefish, flounder, sheepshead and sea mullet.

Sound fishing produced gray trout, flounder, bluefish and drum.
