Not much of a different scenario of most of our days this past week except it may have been a little bit cooler. The pompano still bit (for some)...Bob demonstrated that today when he caught 2 of them in a period of 15 minutes...We were reasonably sure that one was a citation but if fell short of 2 ounces...oh well! We'll keep trying at any rate. The rain has most definately been persistent but the fish really don't care. So far today we've heard from a handful catching pompano, bluefish, pompano, flounder and gray trout. The trout and flounder have been most abundant at the north end of the island.
