As shown in the picture here of Linda Rippe, Owner of the local newspaper, Ocracoke Observer, that even though the fishing may be a bit slower, the clamming is great! The island is recovering from lots of rain yesterday but the sun is shinning today and we're expecting that the fishing will improve as well. It's early afternoon and no reports yet. Hopefully we'll have something to talk about tomorrow.
