FISHING REPORT ARCHIVERating System:
Not so good fishing:
Joe Zalameda from Poquoson, VA is only 5 years old and proved to be quite the little fisherman with his 9-1/2 lb. bluefish. Way to go Joe! Bluefish seem to be the biggest majority of what's being caught the past couple days. We also had reports of gray trout, flounder and sea mullet but nothing fast and furious from the surf.
Sound fishing by boat produced gray trout, flounder and bluefish.
Offshore fishing reported by Dave Nagel, Charter Boat Captain of "DrumStick"...9 yellowfin tuna, 12 dolphin, 1 wahoo, 1 amberjack, 114 red snapper, 74 triggerfish and 1 grouper 14-1/2 lb.
That's all for now. We've got some weather coming tomorrow but hopefully it pushes out quickly and we all have a great Memorial weekend.
