Rick Millman just arrived here this morning and with his third cast of the day using a bucktail and 4" gold/flake grub on light 6' trout rod reels in a 25-1/2" puppy drum. That's the way to do it! The guys fishing with him also caught flounder, bluefish and sea mullet while fishing the backside of south point. We also got a report from night fishing. Walt Taylor, Rick Perdue, Jim Rainmaker & Gambill Aldridge from Elkin, NC caught 4 drum 22 to 26", black drum and bluefish. That's about all we've heard from the surf today so far.

Inshore fishing - citation red drum, black drum, gray trout and flounder.

Offshore reported from Carl at Ocracoke Fishing Center. Yellowfin tuna, king mackerel, barracuda's and amberjacks.
