This is a picture of our friend, Judy Newell with her 18" puppy drum, which she released. We had numerous reports of drum being caught. John Bardwell from Manassas, VA caught a 6-1/2 lb. puppy. Christy Sweet caught puppy drum and sheepshead. Reid Newell of Ocracoke caught and released a 18-1/2 lb. red drum. There were bluefish, sea mullet, croaker, flounder, black drum and pompano as well. The storm seemed to have just made fishing better.

Bob and I will be over in Hatteras the next couple days fishing the "Little Hatteras Tournament" so we won't be able to report anything til Sunday.
