Fishing Report ArchiveRating System:Good fishing:  Not so good fishing:   As shown in the photo, Helen Pierce from Thomasville, NC certainly came up with a big surprize 9 lb. bluefish. This isn't something we normally hear about this time of year so must have just been her lucky day. Also, Jo Shoffner from Graham, NC caught and released a 34-1/2" red drum. Other fish caught the past couple of days have been sea mullet, spot, croaker, flounder, taylor blues and spanish mackerel. Sound fishing by boat produced much of the same with the exception of a few puppy drum, gray and speckled trout. Offshore produced dolphin, wahoo, king mackerel, amberjack, triggerfish, grouper and snappers. Have a great day and keep fishing. Rating:  |
