Fishing Report ArchiveRating System:Good fishing: Not so good fishing: Saturday the winds shifted NE and with it a much colder situation than Friday. We did hear of a 35 lb. striper caught during the night off the south end and then around 7:30 a.m. Bill Denzer caught a 35" striper while I was fishing right beside him. I ended up only catching a puffer fish and 1 small bluefish. We finally gave up due to the harsher weather conditions. We really got spoiled from the warmer weather last week. Anyway looks like we're in for a few more days of this colder spell. So far today we've only heard of dog sharks. Have a great Sunday and keep fishing! Rating: |
