Fishing was even better on Tuesday. Lots of bluefish kept the anglers busy throughout the day while casting lures such as hopkins and stingsilvers as well as using bait. There were also spanish mackerel mixed in with the bluefish. In addition there were spot, croaker, sea mullet, gray trout and flounder caught from the surf and sound side.
Sound Fishing - lots of flounder. The Bickels from Hightstown, NJ caught an abundance of flounder. Barbara actually caught a 4 3/4 lb. flounder (almost) citation. Her picture can be seen on "Boat Catch of the Week". Also, puppy drum from Shell Castle, bluefish, pinfish, hogfish and a few trout.
Offshore - Wahoo, dolphin, king mackerel, cobia, amberjack, grouper, triggerfish and black sea bass.
