From the surf - bluefish and spanish mackerel are still providing the most excitment but we've also had some outstanding catches. Most notably a 44" red drum caught off the south end of the island last night by Charles Caudill from Stuart, VA. Also some sea mullet, pompano, gray trout and flounder as well as sharks, skates and rays.
Sound fishing - Top honors today go to Danny Burrus from Nags Head, NC who caught a citation 8 lb. speckled trout. The flounder fishing today is strong and some gray trout mixed in.
Wreck fishing - Amberjacks, triggerfish, black sea bass, bluefish and snappers.
Offshore - Wahoo, tuna and dolphin.
