Fishing still remains good here. John Foster (VA-Apraisr) from Glen Allen, VA caught and released a citation 46" red drum and on his very next cast caught a 33" red drum as well. His friend, which we didn't get his name caught a 29" red drum. Chris Cheney from Greensboro, NC also caught a 31" red drum last night. There have been lots and lots of bluefish caught as well on both lures and bait.
So far this morning we've heard from Chuck Deal from Greensboro, NC along with Chris Cheney and Joe Wheatley from Point Harbor, NC...They went to the north end of the island and so far have caught 4 puppy drum. Gail Murray from Kenly, NC caught a 22" puppy drum, also fishing at the north end. They both watched another fisherman catch and release a 45" Citation size red drum but we don't have his name yet.
